Innovation Bound requires a Business Development Associate to develop and grow profitable new client relationships for its consulting business. This individual possesses an engaging, positive outlook; truly enjoys exploring the challenges that business leaders face; can transform conversations to business opportunities; and exudes healthy optimism and authenticity.  A strong network and experience in business development is required.


 


The Business Development Associate will help the company grow and expand by reaching new customers.  The responsibilities of this role will include:


 


      Developing new client relationships and new business opportunities


      Representing the company at networking events and sales meetings


      Developing awareness and interest in Innovation Bound amongst potential clients


      Generating new leads and managing the sales pipeline


      Mining opportunities and outlining project proposals and scopes of work


      Serving as a liaison between the company’s consultants and potential clients


      Negotiating and closing new business


      Assisting senior management to develop new business strategies and new and improved methods for marketing products through various new and traditional media


 


The ideal applicant has:


 


      Experience building client relationships that result in long-term business opportunities


      Ability to engage business leaders in conversation about strategy, growth initiatives, finance and management


      Strong networking & sales skills


      Good listening & comprehension skills


      Ability to adapt conversations to business opportunities


      Ability to work collaboratively and comfortable working with limited oversight
