Verdiem Sales:
The Sales Department at Verdiem has three primary objectives:
· Grow top line company revenue
· Acquire new customers
· Professionally account manage existing customers for growth & referenceability
Position Summary:
Market Development Representative Lead
Do you have a knack for engaging others? Are you competitive, energetic and motivated to produce results? If so, we want you leading our Market Development Team.
As a Market Development Representative Lead, your time will be dedicated to inspiring and leading our Market Development Representatives. This is a true Player-Coach role.
Essential Functions:
· Maximize sales revenue and productivity by providing day-to-day management of market development team
· Recruit, hire, train, and motivate employees.
· Ensure that all team members and the team achieves all assigned goals
· Develop, Mentor, and help grow assigned sales staff
· Provide feedback to management and recommend changes and modifications to established procedures & guidelines.
· Serve as liaison between, sales management, field sales and inside sales teams marketing and other sales support functions
· Ensure frontline sales results
· Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction ratings
· Develop and communicate annual sales plans in support of the organizational strategy and objectives.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· 3 plus years of management or lead experience in a similar environment
· 5-7 years of telephone sales experience, preferably with an enterprise technology, is ideal
· Superb communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong phone prospecting skills to have a well-structured conversation with prospects at any level
· Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive established targets or quotas
· Background in solution/consultative selling is helpful
· Experience growing a sales / market development sales team
· Strong and proven track record of successfully mentoring and coaching sales teams to achieve their greatest potential
· Proven presentation and demonstration skills using web-based meeting applications like WebEx, Go-To-Meeting, etc
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal sales goals and quotas
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical Sales or related field would be preferred.
