Are you an IT professional who enjoys working with Systems and Server management? Are you an expert with network administration? My client is seeking someone who will be performing highly complex projects involving maintenance and implementation of systems such as, Windows and Unix servers, networking, enterprise applications, and virtual architecture.
This Network Administrator/Systems Admin will provide reliable and secure technical operation and maintenance of all servers; ensures mission critical servers and systems are available and operating daily; performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex technology issues, and recommends and implements corrective solutions. You will collaborate with Architects and other engineers to ensure efficient operations of the organization’s computing environment.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. Related experience may be substituted for academic achievement. Minimum five years of technical experience as a Network Engineer/Administrator with a professional level certification or equivalent experience preferred. Well-developed oral and written communication skills, human relation skills and problem solving skills. Strong analytical and decision making abilities. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, planning, and ability to “translate” between technical resources and non-technical staff. Knowledge of computer industry, networking, and experience with a broad range of computing platforms, workstations, and their connectivity.
